LEADERSHIP

JILL GLIST, CEO

Jill founded Lambent in 2006 after realizing how much her life was improved by using her own part-time assistants, Lena and Marisa. Jill’s involvement with Lambent combines daily hands-on participation in recruiting, client relations and staff management with oversight for strategic planning initiatives. She brings a systemic approach to staffing, with attention to how an optimal work environment relies on not only the quality of the people hired but how they function in relation with each other.

Jill’s previous experience includes working as an individual and family therapist, and as a board member of the Rappaport Charitable Foundation. She graduated with a BA in Literature from Yale College and a MA in Clinical Psychology from NYU.

MARTY SULKOW, OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Martin Sulkow oversees all of Lambent’s operations: billing, payroll, compliance, and budgeting. He manages our JPMorgan Chase temporary staffing department and is the first point of contact for Lambent’s hourly assistant pool. Martin has been working at Lambent in various capacities—including as an hourly assistant—since 2010.

Martin’s previous experience includes serving as senior research associate for a New York private art collection. Martin graduated from New York University in 2010 with a BFA in Music. He grew up in Albany, NY and in Massachusetts’ Pioneer Valley.

TYLER WEICKER, SYSTEMS DIRECTOR

Tyler Weicker oversees office technology, processes, and management of the recruiting platforms and databases for the Lambent office. With his background of managing and building web applications, Tyler has had the ability to technically develop virtual operations for organizations. His expertise now enhances client-focused programming and leads Lambent’s charge for efficiency and agility. Tyler is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Vantage E-Commerce, a wholesale product procurement company that works primarily with Amazon sellers.

Tyler graduated from Trinity Pawling in 2017 and SUNY Cobleskill in 2020 with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Technical Management. He grew up in Grand Junction, CO and Sherman, CT.

AMY SOKOLOV, RECRUITING DIRECTOR

Amy manages temporary and permanent placements for Lambent's corporate and private clients. She conducts the majority of all interviewing; selecting matches from our internal database, and identifying prospects out of large numbers of new applicants.

Her experience as a Personal Assistant to several UHNW individuals in New York City has given Amy a unique understanding of what makes a superb assistant. She also hired teams of staff members as Managing Director for couture knitwear designer Joan Vass, where Amy worked for 17 years, essentially running the company. Amy received her BFA from Cooper Union and still makes art. She and Jill met in the early 1990s, when they both lived on the same floor of Gramercy House, a Manhattan co-op.

NOAH PARNES, OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

Noah Parnes provides support in market research, business development initiatives, and strategy for Lambent. He also assists the CEO, compiles candidate information, organizes digital files, and manages the company calendar.

Noah received his BA in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration from Yale University in 2022. He is also a playwright and screenwriter.

JALYSSA LABOY, LUXURY MARKETS ASSOCIATE

Jalyssa’s central task is populating and refining Lambent’s central assistant database, in addition to providing general office support. This includes onboarding part-time assistants; running background checks; generating invoices; client and assistant communications; scheduling telephone, video and in-person interviews; market research; and supporting the CEO.

Jalyssa is in her final semester at Hunter College, where she will receive a BA in Economics and a Business Studies Certificate.
