HOURLY ASSISTANCE

HOURLY

We maintain a pool of assistants who are available for customized amounts of time (10-40hrs/week). Clients are given a choice of assistants profiled by skill set, personality and schedule. All meet strict selection criteria with respect to education, relevant experience and formal screening; some have experience with celebrities and socialites. Each has worked with us on an ongoing basis.

We are especially sensitive to the quality of interpersonal fit, because this allows for effective communication, which is the basis of a strong client-assistant relationship.

Types of Hourly Assistance:

DEDICATED

Custom business solutions include:

CONCIERGE

Tasks on an as-needed one-time basis, such as express mailing a passport, going to a sample sale for a client, or researching flights last-minute.

DIGITAL

Tech clients who are largely computer-based get assistant support through their preferred online communication platform, most typically a dedicated slack channel.

LUXURY RESIDENTIAL

Supplemental help for in-house concierge and front desk staff, our assistants work in apartments to accept deliveries, supervise vendors, and organize spaces.

OUR PROCESS

1. Tell us what you want

We have a phone conversation to determine your assistant preferences based on skills, personality and schedule. It’s fine if you don’t know every detail ahead of time; we can determine this together. Half of all our hourly clients are using an assistant for the first time.

2. Curated Choices

From our NYC part-time pool of 45 (fewer in other cities) we identify prospective matches and present the three best to you by emailed PDF dossier. This is a comprehensive profile of each assistant that allows you to decide which one you would like to try working with. If you don’t like any of the candidates presented we show you different ones based on your feedback.

3. Begin

We want you to really like your assistant. The best way to determine quality of fit is through a trial session. This time should be spent not on training, but on getting something helpful done and more crucially seeing if you feel good afterwards and if the communication feels fluid. Most clients find success with the first match. You can switch assistants at any time, though. The most important thing is to feel comfortable and happy with yours because it is such a close relationship.
