Jill Glist founded Lambent Services and participates
in all aspects of its functioning. She received her
B.A. from Yale College in Literature, and her M.A.
from N.Y.U. in Clinical Psychology. Jill is trained
as a psychodynamic and strategic family therapist,
and brings to Lambent Services strategies for optimizing
working relationships.
Past
professional experience include being a therapist
at the N.Y.U. psychology clinic; a researcher at the
Yale Psychiatric Institute and the Queens Hospital
Center; and a caseworker at Covenant House and the
Henry Ittleson Center. For eight years, Jill served
on the board of The Jerome Lyle Rappaport Charitable
Foundation, where she learned best practices for family
philanthropy. Her interests there included facilitating
intergenerational conversations about wealth, and
initiating The Rappaport Prize, an annual art award
given in conjunction with the DeCordova Museum.
Lambent
Services was inspired by Jill’s work with her
own part-time assistants, Lena and Marisa, who have
been invaluable.
 
Thomas Dillion manages the
NYC and Westchester offices. He is responsible for
Lambent Services’ billing, bookkeeping, taxes,
and other finances. Thomas tracks availability for
our assistant pools, and works with clients to present
optimal matches. He also models the company’s
performance with respect to future goals.
Thomas received his B.A. from
Temple University where he majored in Criminal Justice.
Before joining Lambent Services, Thomas worked as
a manager at Merion Golf Club and as a filmmaker at
Project Twenty1.
 
Martin Sulkow identifies candidates for our regular assistant pools in NYC and LA, as well as for full-time placements nationally. He conducts interviews, background and reference checks, and assembles the dossiers which provide a comprehensive profile of each individual. Martin oversees ongoing assistant relations, and also contributes to Lambent Services' social media initiatives, day-to-day management of the New York office, and providing executive support to Jill.
Martin received his B.F.A. in Music from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In addition to his position at Lambent Services, he also works as a freelance audio engineer and as a composer. Past professional experience includes an internship at Universal Music Group under Tommy Mottola, and at New York Public Radio. At Original Media NYC, a boutique media production studio, Martin was an editor's assistant.
 
Christopher Purpura designs
Lambent Services’ marketing materials, in both
print and digital formats. He maintains our website,
and is currently establishing a company social networking
presence in its most popular incarnations –
Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Christopher
also performs most IT functions, and contributes to
all other aspects of our common work.
Christopher received his BA
from NYU with a major in Art History. In addition
to Lambent Services, Christopher assists Principal
Andrew Heid of NOArchitecture in Soho. Past experience
includes internships at Gagosian, P.S.1, and The Andy
Warhol Museum, where he gained an understanding of
the luxury service market and its audiences.

 
As the Director of Lambent Services' Westchester (NY) and Fairfiled (CT) counties division, Geraldine Sheridan oversees the composition of these assistant pools and is the region's primary client contact point. She also spearheads local marketing and public relation campaigns. Geraldine maintains consistent communication with the NYC office to ensure that policies and procedures remain consistent. On a day-to-day basis, she supervises Jesse.
Geraldine received her B.A. in English Literature from SUNY Stony Brook. She is also an award-winning playwright who has been published in Samuel French's in 30th series of Off-Off Broadway Festival Plays and Smith and Kraus's Best Stage Scenes (2006 ed.). Her works have been produced in New York City, Chicago, Cleveland and Great Britain. Her play "Kerry and Angie" was recently made into a film. Previously, Geraldine was a copywriter and session facilitator for Viverito with Fortune 500 companies. She has also been a personal assistant, office manager and a paralegal.
 
Jesse van Buren works to establish and maintain lasting relationships with clients and assistants in Westchester and Fairfield Counties, while also managing the day-to-day operations at the Westchester office. He maintains IT and infrastructure and coordinates assistant availability and placement with the Manhattan office. He also focuses on expanding Lambent Services' presence in the Northen Metropolitan area through marketing and community outreach.
Jesse received his B.A. in Medieval French and English Literature from Reed College in Portland, OR. He is a writer and performer whose work has shown widely in basements and abandoned lots throughout Brooklyn, Queens and the Pacific Northwest.
